Accomplishments
  • Supplement Publication in Annals of Rheumatic Diseases; March 2005, Vol. 64, supplement II (2005).
  • Development of evidence-based review of psoriatic arthritis (PsA) treatments to be published Spring 2006.
  • Prioritized domains of inquiry within PsA and psoriasis (PsO) research through consensus process finalized at OMERACT (2004) (link to JRheum article from OMERACT '04). OMERACT is the group that has established treatment practice guidelines in rheumatology.
  • Intranet for GRAPPA was launched; this provides a way to communicate and post documents for group review and input (2004).
  • Meetings held at AAD, EULAR, OMERACT, ACR, and EADV (2004, 2005).
  • First face-to-face interdisciplinary meeting held in New York (2003).
  • Committees are pursuing a variety of research projects, including focus on
    • Refinement and validation of arthritis outcome measures in PsA
    • Development of instruments to assess QOL, function, and participation
    • Standardization of histologic and immunohistochemistry assessments in PsA and PsO
    • Updated criteria for classification of PsA (CASPAR)
    • Imaging in PsA
    • Socioeconomic impact and effect of therapy in this realm
